Snapshots of early spring
As my friends and family on the prairies are still very much entrenched in the thrall of winter, my experience on the west coast has been quite different. While I'm not sure that winter, as I have previously experienced it, ever actually has or will reach us here—aside from a few rather spectacular snowfalls—spring has definitely arrived. The days are getting longer, the sun is shining more brightly, and the smell of fresh growth wafts through the air. I have been, since the moment I relocated from slightly further east, astounded at the prolific plant life in and around Vancouver. This being my first spring here, it is with escalated amazement that I witness the early bloom of many of the perennials which will soon overtake our parks and gardens. I share with you now some sights from recent walks, shot on the Fujifilm X-T5, with both the (incredible) Fujinon 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR, and the (also incredible) Viltrox PRO 75mm f/1.2 XF.
