A rainy day and a video
Once again, I return to Pacific Spirit Regional Park on a holiday, this time in the rain. I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it, but this is such a lovely park—literally a forest in the city—and a great place for a stroll in any season.
For about a year now, I’ve been slowly becoming more and more interested in shooting video. I have tried a few things, including vlogs and local activities. Something I’ve come back to a few times are these short ‘b-roll’ videos; atmospheric and ambient, sharing a sense of place. This is probably my best effort to date, which still isn’t a lot, but it’s something I feel like I can actually share with the world. I’m motivated to create more of these, and also other short-form video content which may or may not ever see the light of day.
For those who may be interested, the clips were all shot on the Fujifilm X-T5 with the Fujinon 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR, in FLOG2, with the Eterna LUT applied in Davinci Resolve.
Enjoy!
