Moving to BC: On a Mission

After traveling to Vancouver in 2017, 2018, and 2019, the idea had always been in my head that maybe, just maybe, I would like to live there some day. Having missed out on visiting during the pandemic, and with all the new found flexibility afforded by my employer embracing fully remote work, I decided to jump on the opportunity and head west once again—this time, longer term.

Moving between provinces is never really easy (I had done so three times previous), and this was perhaps the most challenging, but my partner, our dog, and I secured an apartment in Vancouver, put some items in storage, loaded up a U-Haul trailer, and hit the road.

In the interest of missing as little work as possible (two days between us), we had a short stay in Mission, BC, as we waited for our apartment to become available.
